A die-cast aluminium body and a polished stainless steel bowl make it a sturdy partner for everyday baking, from whipped cream and meringues to cake batters and bread dough. Powerful, quiet direct drive motor An 800W direct drive motor gives smooth, reliable power for heavy mixtures. Planetary action moves the tool around the bowl as it spins, so ingredients are mixed evenly right to the edges. 10 speeds with soft start A lever on top of the head selects from 10 speeds, and the soft start gently builds up speed to help keep ingredients in the bowl at the beginning of mixing. Printed speed guides on the body suggest which attachment suits each level. Generous 4.8 litre bowl The polished stainless steel bowl has a handle for easy lifting and is big enough for family-sized bakes. Smeg quotes up to 12 egg whites, up to 1.8kg of bread or pizza dough, and up to 1 litre of whipped cream. Accessories included The box includes a stainless steel wire whisk, an aluminium flat beater, an aluminium dough hook and a plastic pouring shield. The whisk, beater, dough hook and bowl are dishwasher safe. Safe and stable The head locks in place when raised and the mixer stops if the head is lifted.
